25 Viking torch bearers and their followers will march from the shore to The Portico - singing & drum beating. a Short declaration will be made by the prisoner at the steps about the treatment he has had, and how his comrades will return in their ships in on 27th August to take revenge on the locals - thus signalling the Magnus Barelegs Festival that will be held at Delamont Park.
torchbearers will assemble near portaferry lifeboat station, walk along shore road, turning into steel dixon avenue and up to the portico steps where the invasion declaration will be performed
